The AAT3696 BatteryManager™ is a single-cell lithiumion (Li-Ion)/Li-Polymer battery charger IC designed to operate from USB ports or AC adapter up to an input voltage of 6.5V or 6.05V (depending on the option1).

BatteryManager™ is a single-cell lithiumion (Li-Ion)/Li-Polymer battery charger IC designed to operate from USB ports or AC adapter up to an input voltage of 6.5V or 6.05V (depending on the option1). For increased safety, the AAT3696 also includes over-voltage input protection (OVP) up to 28V. The AAT3696 precisely regulates battery voltage after it has reached 4.2V or 4.375V (depending on the option1) Li-Ion/Polymer battery cells through an extremely low RDS(ON) switch. The charging current can be set by an external resistor up to 1.6A.
