The MDR-IF140 is a cordless stereo headphone using infrared transmission. You can enjoy listening to a programme free from the restriction of the headphone cord by simply connecting the transmitter (optional) to a TV, or audio ponents equipped with a headphone jack or a line output jack. - Cordless, noiseless infrared headphone resistant to external noise, etc. - Self-adjusting headband mechanism eliminating the need for headband adjustment. - Single VOL control adjusts both the right and left volume of the headphones. - This unit can be used with the Sony cordless headphone system. Use the MDR-140 with the optional transmitter. The MDR-140 Headphone should be used with the Sony optional cordless stereo headphone system (except MDR-IF630RK).
