The SL74HCT163 is identical in pinout to the LS/ALS163. The SL74HCT163 may be used as a level converter for interfacing TTL or NMOS outputs to High Speed CMOS inputs. The SL74HCT163 is programmable 4-bit synchronous counter that feature parallel Load, synchronous Reset, a Carry Output for cascading and count-enable controls.
