The T5848 is a multi-mode, low noise digital MEMS microphone in a small package.
The T5848 consists of a MEMS microphone element and an impedance converter amplifier followed by an analog-to-digital converter, decimation and antialiasing filters, power management, and an industry standard 24-bit I²S interface.
The I²S interface allows the T5848 to connect directly to digital processors, such as DSPs and microcontrollers, without the need for an audio codec in the system.
