T  echcode®       White LED Step-up Converter DATASHEET TD8201 General Description  Features    The TD8201 is a step‐up DC/DC converter designed for driving  z Drives Up to 5 Series White LEDs from 3V  up to 5 white LEDs in series from a single cell Lithium  Ion  z Up to 87% Efficiency  battery  with  constant  current.  Because  it directly regulates  z 1.25MHz Fixed Switching Frequency  output current, the TD8201 is ideal for driving    light    z Low 104mV Feedback Voltage  emitting    diodes    (LEDs)    whose    light intensity is  z Open Load Shutdown  proportional to the current passing  through them,  not  the  z PWM Dimming  voltage  across  their  terminals.
