Description
SiP12401 is a boost controller IC for double cell NiMH or Alkaline battery and Li Ion battery, which can drive white LEDs connected in series to provide backlight in hand-held devices. Series connection of the LEDs provides identical LED currents resulting in uniform brightness and eliminating the need for ballast resistors.
