General Description

The TCED1100 consists of a phototransistor optically coupled to a gallium arsenide infrared-emitting diode in a 4-lead plastic dual inline package.

VDE STANDARDS These couplers perform safety functions according to the following equipment standards: • DIN EN 60747-5-5 Optocoupler for electrical safety requirements • IEC EN 60950 Office machines (applied for reinforced isolation for mains voltage ≤ 400 VRMS) • VDE 0804 Telecommunication apparatus and data processing • IEC60065 Safety for mains-operated electronic and related household apparatus

  • Available in single or four channels.
  • Rated impulse voltage (transient overvoltage) VIOTM = 10 kVpeak.
  • Isolation test voltage (partial discharge test voltage) Vpd = 1.67 kVpeak.
  • Rated isolation voltage (RMS includes DC) VIORM = 800 Vpeak.
  • Rated recurring peak voltage (repetitive) VIORM = 890 VP.
  • Thickness though insulation ≥ 0.4 mm.
  • Creepage.
