General Description

The ADS816x is a family of 16-bit, 8-channel, highprecision successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) operating from a single 5-V supply with a 1-MSPS (ADS8168), 500-kSPS (ADS8167), and 250-kSPS (ADS8166) total throughput.

The input multiplexer supports extended settling time, which makes driving the analog inputs easier.

The output of the multiplexer and ADC analog inputs are available as device pins.
