General Description

The TS3USBCA4 is a passive 4:1 (TS3USBCA420) and 3:1 (TS3USBCA410) MUX supporting various types of differential or single-ended signals on the SBU1/SBU2 terminals of a USB Type-C connector to different interfaces.

Those signals can be differential DisplayPort auxiliary (AUX), analog audio MIC and AGND, PCIe differential clock, or any other supported generic differential or single-ended signals.

  • General purpose MUX for 0 to 3.6 V differential or single-ended signals.
  • Ultra low RON of 60 mΩ for the AGND connections for low crosstalk performance.
  • Low Total Harmonic Distortion (THD).
  • High bandwidth channels up to 500 MHz.
  • Supports both pin and I2C configuration.
  • Supports operation from either 3.
