The 74AHC1G66; 74AHCT1G66 is a single-pole, single-throw analog switch with two input/output terminals (n Y and n Z) and a digital enable input (n E). When n E is LOW, the analog switch is turned off. The enable input is overvoltage tolerant. This feature allows the use of these devices as translators in mixed voltage environments.
