General Description

The NEX8080 device series (NEX8080x) are intelligent multi-mode PWM controller implemented with peak current mode control.

As the load changes, it automatically switches between Continuous Conduction Mode (CCM), Quasi-Resonant (QR) mode, Discontinuous Conduction Mode (DCM) and Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) Mode to maintain a high efficiency across the entire load range.

To achieve an ultralow standby power, Burst Mode (BM) is implemented in very light load or no-load condition.
