1319 Description
Receiver Operation The 1319-Type high-speed fiber-optic receiver consists of a wideband linear preamp followed by a limiting amplifier buffer stage. It is designed for use in singlemode, high-speed applications at the SONET OC-48 and the ITU-T synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) STM-16 data rate of 2488.32 Mbits/s. The receiver is available with either a PIN photodetector or an APD photodetector.
