The ECT 3409 is a dual channel cur- rent mode PWM DC-DC step -down conv erter o perating at 1.5 MHz constant fre quency. The device is i deal for p ortable equipment requiring two sep arate po wer su pplies that need high current up to 600m A. The device operates from single-cell Lit hium-ion batt eries whil e st ill achieving over 96% efficiency. The ECT3409 al so can run at 100% duty cycle fo r low dropo ut ope ration, exten ding battery l ife in portable systems while light load o peration provides very low output ripple for noise sensitive applications. The device h as a uniq ue adaptive slo pe p ensation scheme th at make s it po ssible to o perate with a lo wer range of ind uctor valu es to optimize size an d provide efficient ope ration.
