With a small form factor of 20.2 x 20.2 x 1.85mm,the apm1688 is a full-featured WiFi 802.11b/g/n WiFi single system module that includes support for high linear output power, IEEE 802.11i security, IEEE 802.11e QoS,. By providing SDIO (1-bit, 4-bit) host interface combined with support for Linux operation systems, the apm1688 enables rapid integration of WiFi technology into a variety of host devices.
