The TPP36409 is a high-efficiency synchronous stepdown regulator with integrated high-side and low-side MOSFETs. It provides up to 4-A output current with constant frequency, peak current mode control for fast loop response. The switching frequency is resistor programmable from 200 k Hz to 2.2 MHz.
The TPP36409 operates over a wide input voltage range from 3 V to 36 V with ultra-low quiescent current. It is ideal for battery-powered systems due to its extremely low quiescent current. The switching frequency automatically foldbacks to improve efficiency in the light load or standby operation. With external bias option and low integrated MOSFET resistance, the device can also ensure high efficiency in the full load range.
The TPP36409 features
55-ns minimum on time and low drop-out mode, which can maintain stable operation for high-frequency conditions. EMI performance is specially optimized in TPP36409.
