General Description

The APS12800 is a two-wire planar Hall-effect sensor integrated circuit (IC) developed in accordance with ISO 26262.

It includes internal diagnostics and a fault state that support a functional safety level of ASIL B when integrated and used in conjunction with the appropriate system-level control.

The two-wire interface provides interconnect open/ short diagnostics and a fault state to communicate diagnostic information while maintaining compatibility with legacy two-wire systems.
