Overview: ATS17501 Dual Output Differential Speed and Direction Sensor.

General Description

The ATS17501 is a single IC solution designed for rotational position sensing of a ferrous gear target found in automotive and industrial electric motor applications (often with specific application and safety requirements).

The IC is housed in an SG package that incorporates a rare-earth magnetic pellet for ease of manufacturing, consistent application performance over temperature, and enhanced reliability.

Three Hall elements are incorporated to create two independent differential channels.
