HMC920LP5E - ACTIVE BIAS CONTROLLER

Description

HMC920LP5E is an active bias controller which generates a regulated Drain voltage and actively adjusts the gate voltage of an external amplifier to achieve constant bias current.

Features

  • Single Positive Voltage Supply (5V to 16.5V).
  • Adjustable Drain Voltage 3V to 15V.
  • Adjustable Drain Current up to 500mA.
  • Internal Negative Voltage Generator.
  • Active Bias Current Regulation.
  • Stable Bias Current Over Temperature and Process Variation and Aging.
  • Short Circuit Protection (Power Foldback).
  • Adjustable Over/Under-Current Alarm.
  • Adjustable Low Vdd Voltage Alarm.
  • Automated Power-up Sequencing.
