Description BP2608A is a high efficiency, high PF and low THD APFC controller. The device operates in critical conduction mode and is suitable for Boost topology. BP2608A utilizes MOSFET source driving technique and zero current detecting method. The operating current of the IC is very low. With very few external ponents count, it can achieve excellent constant current performance, so the system cost and size are greatly reduced. BP2608A offers rich protection functions to improve the system reliability, including load open protection, MOSFET over current limit.
