ANTENNAS A Data Sheet HPA-8003 H-Plane Array Product Overview TDK RF Solutions’ HPA-8003 H-Plane Array of Log Periodic Dipole Antennas is a new generation pact antenna used for transmitting and receiving broadband radio signals. It is especially suited for multi-band and broadband munication testing. Performance The HPA-8003 provides optimal performance over the wide operating frequency range of 800 MHz to 3 GHz. The frequency range of the HPA-8003 is intended to cover the principal terrestrial telemunications bands. Leading-Edge Design The HPA-8003’s precision design Features a reduced boom cross section which results in excellent cross polarization rejection. The quasi-frequency independent H-plane array equalizes E and Hplane beamwidths, reduces cross polarization, and provides better phase center localization. These Features , bined with moderate power handling capability, make the HPA-8003 an excellent choice for both munications testing as well as the most stringent metrology applications.
