The GR8762 is a current-mode PFC controller operating in critical conduction mode.
The sinusoidal current is taken from the single phase line supply and stabilized DC voltage is available at the output.
The IC includes a highly liner multiplier which can reduce AC input current distortion, that allows wide-range-mains operation with an extremely low THD, even over a large load range.
