IP178D integrates an 8-port switch controller,
- IP178D LF (0°C to 70°C)
SSRAM, and 8 10/100 Ethernet transceivers. Each
- IP178D LFI (-40°C to 85°C) z IP178C pin to pin patible of the transceivers plies with the IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3x specifications. The z Support 2k MAC address z Support auto-polarity for 10 Mbps z Support filter/forward special DA option transceivers are designed in DSP approach in 0.16um technology; they have high noise immunity and robust performance. z Support broadcast storm protection z Auto MDI-MDIX option
IP178D supports a lot of Qo S function, including z Two queues per port for Qo S purposes
802.1p, Diff Serv, TCP/UDP port number and High z Support Port based Qo S z Support 802.1p & Diff Serv based Qo S priority port. User could enable Qo S function from Pin or EEPROM. z Qo S
