MP4008 Overview
The MP4008 is a current-mode controller designed for driving high brightness light emitting diodes (LEDs) with a wide input voltage from 9V to 28V. It can be used in boost and SEPIC topologies. The MP4008 drives an external MOSFET with a fixed frequency architecture to regulate the LED current, which is measured through an external current-sense resistor.
