DESCRIPTION The MPQ4325/4325J is a configurablefrequency (200kHz to 2.5MHz), synchronous, step-down switching regulator with an integrated, internal high-side MOSFET (HS-FET) and low-side MOSFET (LS-FET). The device provides up to 5A of highly efficient output current (IOUT) with peak current mode control. The wide 3.3V to 36V input voltage (VIN) range accommodates a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. A 1μA quiescent current (IQ) in shutdown mode allows the device to be used in battery-powered applications. High power conversion efficiency across a wide load range is achieved by scaling down the switching frequency (fSW) under light-load condition to reduce the switching and gate driving losses.
