DESCRIPTION
The MPQ4326M is a configurable-frequency (200k Hz to 2.5MHz), synchronous, step-down switching regulator with integrated internal highside and low-side power MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). It features integrated input capacitors to optimize EMI performance, and can provide up to 6A of highly efficient output current (IOUT) with peak current mode control.
The MPQ4326M can maintain a regulated output voltage (VOUT) across a wide input voltage (VIN) range up to 36V. Over-voltage protection (OVP) allows it to survive load dumps up to 42V. A 1μA shutdown mode quiescent current (IQ) allows this device to be used in battery-powered applications. High power conversion efficiency across a wide load range is achieved by scaling down the switching frequency (f SW) at light loads to reduce switching and gate driver losses.
