The MAX17117 includes a high-performance step-up regulator, a 350mA low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator, a high-speed operational amplifier, and a high-voltage level-shifting scan driver with gate-shading control.

The device is optimized for thin-film transistor (TFT) liquidcrystal display (LCD) applications. The step-up DC-DC converter provides the regulated supply voltage for panel source-driver ICs.
