It contains a prescaler (150 MHz MAX.), PLL frequency synthesizer, and IF counter. This microcontroller supports European Radio Data System (RDS) and implements various RDS functions, so that it can configure with a single chip a high-performance FM, MW, or LW tuner such as that for luxury automobile stereo systems.
