The NX2114 controller IC is a synchronous Buck con- n troller IC designed for step down DC to DC converter n applications.

Synchronous control operation replaces n the traditional catch diode with an Nch MOSFET result- n ing in improved converter efficiency.

ON The NX2114 controller IC is a synchronous Buck con- n troller IC designed for step down DC to DC converter n applications. Synchronous control operation replaces n the traditional catch diode with an Nch MOSFET result- n ing in improved converter efficiency. Although the NX2114 n controller is optimized to convert single 5V bus voltages n to supplies as low as 0.8V output voltage, however us- n ing a few external components it can also be used for n other input supplies such as 12V input (See NX2113 data sheet for more optimized solution).
