KMA200 Programmable angle sensor Rev. 8 — 7 December 2011 Product data sheet 1. Product profile 1.1 General description The KMA200 is an angle sensor system. The MagnetoResistive (MR) element and the mixed signal Integrated Circuit (IC) are integrated in one package. This angle system is already pre-programmed, offsets are compensated and therefore, ready to use. Via the Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) the KMA200 is user programmable. This allows user specific adjustments of the maximum angle, zero point, clamping level and a 32-bit identifier. The data is stored permanently in an Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory (EEPROM). The device can be programmed to work either in analog or digital (SPI) output mode.
