PCF8553 Description
PCF8553 is an ultra low-power LCD segment driver with 4 backplane- and 40 segmentdriver outputs, with either an I2C- or an SPI-bus interface. It prises an internal oscillator, bias generation, instruction decoding, and display controller. For a selection of NXP LCD segment drivers, see Table 23.
