General description Zero dead time Class-D 7.5 A power comparator The TDA8939 is a power comparator designed for use in a high efficiency class-D audio power amplifier system. It contains power switches, drive logic, protection circuitry, bias circuitry and a fully differential input stage (comparator). This device is optimized for applications in fully digital open-loop class-D audio systems (in combination with a digital PWM controller). The TDA8939 power comparator operates with high efficiency and low dissipation. The system operates over a wide supply voltage range from ±10 V up to ±30 V. 2.
