Features

of the MSM6650 family devices are as follows.
MSM6652/53/54/55/56-xxx These devices are single-chip voice synthesizers with an on-chip mask ROM using the CMOS technology. Standalone Mode or Microcontroller Interface Mode can be selected by mask option.
MSM6652A/53A/54A/55A/56A/58A-xxx The trial production period for these devices is shorter than those described above. These devices are suitable for developing prototype models and concept demonstration of new products.

To ensure high-quality voice synthesis, the MSM6650 family members offer adaptive differential pulse-code modulation (ADPCM) playback, pulse-code modulation (PCM) playback, 12-bit D/A conversion, and on-chip –40 dB/ octave low-pass filter (LPF).
