PT1302 High Efficiency Step-up DC/DC Converter GENERAL DESCRIPTION The PT1302 i s a c ompact, high e fficiency, and low voltage st ep-up DC/DC co nverter with an Ad aptive Current M ode P WM co ntrol l oop. It com prises of an error amplifier, a ramp generator, a PWM comparator, a switch pass el ement an d driv er. It provides stab le an d high ef ficient ope ration o ver a wi de ra nge of l oad currents. It o perates in stable wave forms without external co mpensation. It is su itable fo r 1~4 battery cells ap plications to pr ovide up to 800m A o utput current. Th e 500KHz high sw itching rate reduces th e size of e xternal com ponents. B esides, t he 25 μA l ow quiescent c urrent togethe r wit h high ef ficiency maintains lo ng b attery lifetime.
