GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The PT1305 is a step-up DC/DC converter designed for driving up to 24V from a single cell Lithium Ion battery. The PT1305 switches at 1.25 MHz, allowing the use of tiny, low cost and low height inductors and cap acitors. A c onstant frequency i nternally pensated c urrent mode PW M architecture resu lts in low, p redictable output noise t hat is easy to filter. Low ESR ceram ic capacitors ca n be used at t he ou tput, fu rther reducing noise to m illivolt level. The high voltage switch on the PT1305 i s rated at 2 6V, m aking t he de vices i deal f or boost converters up 24V. It can generate 18V at 30mA from 3.6V supply. The...
