RT1716
RT1716 is Programmable USB Type-C PD Controller manufactured by Richtek.
Description
The RT1716 is a USB Type-C controller that plies with the latest USB Type-C and PD standards. The RT1716 integrates a plete Type-C Transceiver including the Rp and Rd resistors. It does the USB Type-C detection including attach and orientation. The RT1716 integrates the physical layer of the USB BMC power delivery protocol to allow up to 100W of power and role swap. The BMC PD block enables full support for alternative interfaces of the Type-C specification.
