D a t a S h e e t 4 U . c o m Description The RailClamp® series is a family of ultra low capacitance TVS arrays designed to protect high speed data interfaces. This series has been specifically designed to protect sensitive components which are connected to high-speed data and transmission lines from overvoltage caused by ESD (electrostatic discharge), CDE (Cable Discharge Events), and EFT (electrical fast transients). They are designed for use in applications where board space is at a premium. Each device requires less than 1.2mm2 of PCB area and will protect up to two high speed data lines. The monolithic design incorporates surge rated, low capacitance steering diodes and a TVS diode in a single package. Each line has a typical capacitance of <0.
