Description

The TPS563231 is a simple, easy-to-use, 3-A synchronous step-down converter in SOT563 package.

The device is optimized to operate with minimum external component counts and also optimized to achieve low standby current.

Features

  • 1 3-A Converter integrated 95-mΩ and 55-mΩ FETs.
  • D-CAP3™ mode control with fast transient response.
  • Input voltage range: 4.5 V to 17 V.
  • Output voltage range: 0.6 V to 7 V.
  • Pulse skip mode.
  • 600-kHz switching frequency.
  • Low shutdown current Less than 12 µA.
  • 2% Feedback voltage accuracy (25ºC).
  • Startup from pre-biased output voltage.
  • Cycle-by-cycle over current limit.
  • Hiccup-mode over current protecti.
