tions The APW8855 is a Power Management IC (PMIC) designed to provide 7 Voltage regulators for AMD’s Stoney Ridge APU with ability to communicate via an I2C interface. The IC operates from a wide input voltage of 5.5V to 20V. There are 5 Switching Buck regulators and 2 low power LDOs that are all controlled and sequenced via the serial interface. The Buck PWM regulators consists of 3 switching controller driving external power stage such as APW8703 which is capable of supplying up to 8A supply.
