DESCRIPTION
The MP5990 is a fully integrated, PMBus patible, pact hot-swap protection device. It contains a hot-swap controller and a high-side power MOSFET (HS-FET), which allow it to operate as a standalone device. The MP5990 can also operate as a hot-swap controller in parallel with the multi-phase MP5991. The device can achieve up to 50A of continuous output current (IOUT) per device at room temperature, and up to 60A of continuous IOUT with airflow.
