General Description

The RT1715 is a USB Type-C controller that complies with the latest USB Type-C and Power Delivery (PD) standards.

It integrates a complete Type-C transceiver, including the Rp and Rd resistors, and performs USB Type-C detection, including attach and orientation.

The RT1715 also integrates the physical layer of the USB Biphase Mark Coding (BMC) power delivery protocol, allowing up to 100W of power and role swapping.
