It consists of a gallium aluminum arsenide (AlGaAs) light emitting diode optically coupled to a CMOS integrated circuit with a power stage. It is ideally suited for high frequency driving of MOSFETs used in Plasma Display Panels (PDPs), motor control invertor applications, and high performance DC/DC converters.
