Overview

The IR1161 is a synchronous rectification control IC designed to drive an N-Channel power MOSFET in a secondary output rectifier circuit. The MOSFET gate is switched on and off to bypass its body diode during the of the conduction period to minimize power dissipation, remaining off during the blocking period.
