MP1497 High-Efficiency, 3A, 16V, 500kHz Synchronous, Step-Down Converter The Future of Analog IC Technology R DESCRIPTION The MP1497 is a high-frequency, synchronous, rectified, step-down switch mode converter with O built in internal power MOSFETs. It offers a F very compact solution to achieve 3A continuous output current with excellent load and line regulation over a wide input supply range. The MP1497 has synchronous mode operation for D higher efficiency over the output current load range. E Current-mode operation provides a fast D transient response and eases loop stabilization. N S 3 Protective features include over-current protection, thermal shutdown, and external SS E N 3 control.
