MPQ4324E 42V Load Dump Tolerant, 4A Peak Current, Ultra-Compact, Low-IQ, Synchronous Step-Down Converter, AEC-Q100 Qualified DESCRIPTION The MPQ4324E is a configurable-frequency (350kHz to 2.5MHz), synchronous, step-down switching converter with integrated internal highside and low-side power MOSFETs (HS-FET and LS-FET, respectively). The device provides up to 4A peak of highly efficient output current (IOUT) with peak current mode control. The wide 3.3V to 36V input voltage (VIN) range and 42V load dump tolerance accommodates a variety of step-down applications in automotive input environments. A 1μA shutdown current (ISD) allows the device to be used in batterypowered applications.
