SFH5721 Overview
The SFH5721 Digital Ambient Light Sensor bines an array of photodiodes and wide dynamic range readout channels to enable ambient light and infrared sensing. In the figure below you can see a simplified block diagram of the digital light sensor IC. The sensor consists of photopic, infrared and dark channel integrated in one single chip.
