The Smart Gas Sensor is PerkinElmer’s response to OEM requirements for gas alarm sensors with long term stability. By use of the NDIR principle with a robust IR source and and a highly reliable pyroelectric detector, this sensor offers a digital alarm output, self monitor and diagnosis feature. It is supplied fully tested and calibrated for a minimum of 4 year long term operation. The PYM 151 provides one output with series signal transmission, whereas PYM 152 provides 4 discrete digital output signals.
