Description

The SLM6240 devices are high-performance, fixed frequency, current-mode PWM step-up DC/DC converters that incorporate internal power MOSFETs.

The SLM6240 includes an integrated 80mΩ power switch that supports peak currents of up to 4A.

The device is capable of providing an output voltage up to 24 V.

  • Up to 85% Efficiency at VIN = 4.2V, VOUT = 12V, and IOUT = 0.7A.

SLM6240 Rev. 1.0 September 2019 24V 4A PWM STEP-UP DC-DC CONVERTER GENERAL DESCRIPTION The SLM6240 devices are high-performance, fixed frequency, current-mode PWM step-up DC/DC converters that incorporate internal power MOSFETs. The SLM6240 includes an integrated 80mΩ power switch that supports peak currents of up to 4A. The device is capable of providing an output voltage up to 24 V. The SLM6240 uses peak current control topology to regulate the output voltage. In moderate to heavy load condition, the SLM6240 works in the pulse width modulation (PWM) mode. In light load condition, the device works in the pulse frequency modulation (PFM) mode to improve the efficiency.
