THREE-PHASE SPINDLE MOTOR DRIVER FOR MONOLITHIC CD-ROM
DESCRIPTION The µPD16836 is a three-phase spindle motor driver for CD-ROM drives which consists of a CMOS control circuit and MOS bridge output. It employs a three-phase full-wave PWM driving method and a MOS FET in the output stage to lower the power consumption pared with drivers using conventional bipolar transistors.
