Description

The FP5501 is a monolithic IC for low-satu ration bi-directional low cost a nd high efficien cy miniature two DC motor or stepper motor applications, such as driving sh utter (DC actu ator), auto-fo cus (step per motor), iri s (step per motor) and a ccurate zo om (stepper mot or) o n c ameras, v ibration on mobile phone and other moto r application s on portabl e devices.

Low voltage operation ( Vcc min= 1.8V ).
Full- and half-stepping capability.
Low satura tion volt age( Uppe r + lo w transisto r residual voltage; 0.46V typ. at 400mA).
Low input current.
Low operating current, sleep mode with zero current drain.
Dead-zone protection.
High output sinking and driving capability.
Small, thin, highly reliable package (TDFN-10).
Thermal shutdown protection.
