The HCS101 from Microchip Technology Inc. is a fixed code encoder designed for remote control systems. It provides a small package outline and low cost to make this device a perfect solution for unidirectional remote control systems. It is pin compatible with Microchip’s HCS201 Code Hopping Encoder .
